Your commute time could be longer, as well as your lunch. I highly doubt it is shorter, and lunch is required, so this is a minimum calculation. Taking the 2,080 hours (8-hour work day, five days a week) and adding the extra 340 hours (30-minute drive time plus 30-minute lunch) comes to 2,320.
Taking that $52,000 a year pay and dividing it by the 2,320 actual work hours, you are actually only getting paid $22.42 an hour to make your boss richer.
